About the project

A real, invoiced commission: the website of Cadena Monserrate, a restaurant and sports bar with catering service. Public site built for local SEO with online bookings and an automatically imported sports schedule, plus an admin panel on its own subdomain where the business manages the weekly menu, bookings, messages… and even its corporate email, through a custom-built integrated IMAP/SMTP client. Turnkey: design, content, backoffice, emails, backups and deployment.

Tech stack

Next.js 15React 19TypeScriptTailwind CSSPostgreSQLIMAP/SMTPDocker

Key features

  • Online bookings with per-day configurable slots and double client/server validation in Madrid time
  • Admin panel on its own subdomain: weekly menu, sports schedule, bookings, catering, messages and audit trail
  • Integrated corporate email client: incremental IMAP sync, SMTP sending and sandboxed HTML rendering
  • Match importer covering 12 competitions with deduplication and caching
  • Full local SEO: Restaurant and event JSON-LD, dynamic sitemap and canonical redirects
  • Custom date/time pickers (native Android ones broke the design)
  • Automatic SQL migrations on boot and daily backups to a Storage Box
  • Every flow verified end-to-end before going live

Technical challenges

1

A working IMAP/SMTP email client inside a restaurant's admin panel

2

Timezone-proof bookings: double validation on client and server over Europe/Madrid

3

A single Next.js app serving the public site and the admin panel by host via middleware
